America Recycles Day partnership with International Paper

It felt good to go around picking up the trash in the community because I knew I was making a change. Although very small I still was making a change.

It was a great event, we walked and picked up trash off the sides of the street.

I learn ways to recycle and to protect our planet. We went around streets, public buildings, and residential areas to pick up trash. I saw trash ranging from plastic straws to a whole onion that was thrown on to the sidewalk. So it was fun experience making friends and interacting with the coordinator of the event.
