This is for the Habitat for Humanity event! We were able to come in and do some work on the house, we hung up drywall today which was super fun and even got to meet the person we were helping build the house for! Very fun experience with my brothers!
This is for the Path phone calls we made today for prospective students. This was a great opportunity to give back to Path by helping recruit the next cohort of Path scholars! I was able to answer questions and give information about the Path program over the phone and I had a great time!
I was able to donate blood through the American Red Cross! This was such a great opportunity to give back to the community!
This is for the academic event I attended this semester hosted by the Honors College. It is the Research Basics workshop with Dr. Hodge. She was able to walk through the whole process of starting research including when to start finding a mentor, narrowing down topics of interest, and different ways you can present your research such as a creative project or even an internship. This was extremely informative and I learned a lot from her tips and guidance!
This is for the social event I attended this semester hosted by the Honors College. It is the Bagels with the Dean social. Dean Coon was able to sit down with myself and other honors students to enjoy bagels and coffee while conversating about honors and study abroad events occurring this semester and next semester as well. It was fun getting to know Dean Coon a bit more and enjoy free food!
This is for the Student Poll sent out over the resources, community, and recognized needs seen over the past semester.
This is for the Meal Swipe donation during the past 2 weeks. I donated a total of 4 meals and was able to give back to the student community this way by helping fight food insecurity!
