    I have volunteered as a Sunday school teacher at Fellowship in Fayetteville since my freshman year. I used to teach the kindergarten class but just moved to the 4th grade class this semester. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to pour into each of the kids and have even noticed myself putting some of the skills I learned in my classes to use. I volunteered on 9/18, 10/2, 10/23, and 11/13 for an hour and a half each time.

    I posted the ear candling video on my Facebook account and encouraged some of my family and friends to interact in the comments. I found it interesting the amount of people who have had ear candling done before. I had heard of it, but have always been afraid to try it. After learning more about the process in class, I decided it was a better decision for me to see a doctor about my ears if I had concerns rather than trying a DIY at home method.

    I went in on a Dr. Mom otoscope with one of my classmates, Tiffany Smith. We both live in our sorority house together so we were able to practice looking at each other's ears. We didn't see anything abnormal and were glad to get to have more hands on experience with audiology devices.
