Volunteered at Chealse Ave. Farmer's Market (October 30th, 2021). Cleared Weed's next to West Raised Beds. Mulch/Cover Vender's Stands at Farmer's Market.
Cleared flower bed on East side of the garden, Repaired hoop houses, Harvested & Processed Mustard Greens and Turnips.
Weeded and mulched raised beds, helped pack up produce at the end of the Farmer's Market.
The panel was informed and provided great dialogue. The host had a list of interesting and appropriate questions that helped inform the audience of sexual harassment, domestic abuse, and sexual assault within the African American community. Looking forward to next year's or smaller workshops.
Enjoyed being able to get the workout and learning how to plant lettuce seedlings and zucchini seeds. Enjoy these types of activities. One suggestion to get more volunteers would be to hold volunteer activities at various times throughout the week( after 5 pm, before 5 pm, weekdays, & weekends if capable )

During the Iota Phi Theta Digging 2 ParadiZe donations drive was an initiative created to help support the homeless population of Downtown Memphis. Collection and Distribution of the donations were managed by members of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc & Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. On This particular day participants took inventory of the donations left over during the last day of the donation drive and drafted plans for distribution to be executed by Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc. Upon the distribution of the donations Members of Iota Phi Theta will begin assembling the materials for the burrito drive.
