The staff was amazing and it was so fun. The kids were super sweet and loved your presence in the class. Parents have your back and love seeing your face just as much. It feels intimidating to be a male in that space, but you learn very quickly the kids will gravitate towards you.

I truly enjoyed volunteering at Hanley Head Start. All of the kids were extremely adorable and incredibly smart. I had the opportunity to help the kids with their rhyming and counting syllables as well as with counting and doing addition. I also had the chance to color a Jack and Jill sequence for the kids to use the following week. Overall, this has been one of my favorite places and I look forward to going back one day.
