March to the Polls | 5 hours

I had the opportunity to partake in the March to the Polls alongside other student leaders, organizations, etc. This offered an opportunity to exercise our rights as civilians and participate in government. It also helped remind me of the importance of voting in local elections.

The walk was peaceful and it was for a great cause.

I enjoyed marching to the polls at South Carolina State University. It was inspiring to see the school come together for such a positive and meaningful event. I’m grateful to have been given the opportunity to take part in it.

Test.

I walked to the polls with everyone and signed up to vote.

For this event, I participated in walking to South Carolina State University in September. While we walked to South Carolina State, we chanted Claflin chants to keep us going. When we got there, we scanned a QR code to log our participation and we voted.
