I always enjoy my time volunteering during move in week. I volunteered last year and was excited to help out this year. I love getting to meet new students and their families. I enjoyed getting to calm their nerves or answering any questions they might have. I also like getting to volunteer with other UofM students, especially my sorority sisters. It is also fun getting to see the students I helped move-in during the rest of Tiger Welcome and the semester. It is fun being a part of someone's first week of college experience.

This was the second move-in session I did Monday. This experience allowed me to develop my adaptability skills. I learned how close the University of Memphis community can be during move-in. I encountered a diverse range of individuals, creating a sense of constant networking. I love to help people, so this event directly related to my overall goal of making people happy through service. The only challenge was the heat, but it was easily overcome. Overall, move-in was excellent throughout the whole week.
