This experience influenced my future career and educational goals because it taught me to be assertive in situations and to figure out the most efficient ways to solve problems. This experience changed my perspective on my role within the community because I can make a difference with helping many people out and show up for them when they need it most. I formed new connections with several freshman, and I still talk to a few of them to this day if they need help with anything. I do plan on continuing to volunteer with this organization because it left such an impact on me knowing that I got to help the new incoming class, and the new connections I formed. This service did align with my personal values and beliefs because I love to help people and lead them.

I had a great time volunteering with Housing and Residence Life. This was my first time helping with move-in and I had a great time. I served two days with Housing and Residence Life and enjoyed getting to help people move in. I got to serve alongside a lot of different RSOs and it was cool to see a bunch of different organizations working towards the same goal. I would definitely recommend this experience to others and I plan on volunteering for move-in next year.

The cruise style worked out well and the music during the early morning was such a good thing and created a great vibe!!
