Warm Welcome 2024

Move in 2024 was so fun! Some skills I feel like I exercised was hospitality! I wanted to make everyone that I helped move in feel welcomed and appreciated. Something I learned about our community here on campus is that there are so many people willing to help! There were so many volunteers and it was really refreshing. I made a few friends with some new people that I helped move in, and cultivated the ones I already had with people that were volunteering. My service contributed to the UofM to help students have a good first impression of the university. An unexpected challenge I faced the elevators. In all the dorms, the elevators were always full, but we made it workd by taking the stairs when we could!

It was fun

This was a new experience for me, as it was my first time working during Weeks of Welcome. I loved meeting all the incoming freshmen and getting to know their different personalities. It was a lot of fun.
