Community Clean-Up

How has this experience influenced your future career or educational goals? This experience showed me how much helping people means to me and that I want to be able to do that within my career.How did your service influence your understanding of social or environmental issues? This showed me just how much trash people put out onto the street from broken glass bottles to whole tvs. It showed me how much it means to the people who live in these areas that they get cleaned up.What new connections or relationships did you form during your service? The Sigma Kappa girls were also at this clean up and I got to know a few of them as we were cleaning. How did your service contribute to the mission or goals of the organization? My service contributed to the organizations goal for a clean earth and a better environmemt. Did your service align with your personal values and beliefs? If not, how did you handle
any conflicts? They did align. Memphis is home and as sad as it is that people litter it made me feel good to give back to the place that has given so much to me.
