I got to give back to my community by helping movew students in the week before school started. it was nice to help out the students and if they brought any relatives with them. I was very appreciated by those I helped and it was very giving to help those in my community.

It was a fun way to serve, connect with new students, and bond with the people serving with me.
It would be nice to have signs of direction for parents/guardians and family in a couple of places; the check-in table, volunteer table, bend and 2 wheeler check-out and possibly the large garbage dumpster. Also, remind people to pick up their ID once they've finished with those items. Volunteers could help with that if instructed. A large welcome sign(s) would be good for a boost of excitement. Lastly, it would nice if there was a better appreciation for volunteers.
The large bends was a huge hit! All the parents/guardians and family/friends loved the bend usage. Many people were glad for all the help of the volunteers. It was a good idea to have elevator operators. They were very appreciative of the Parent & Family's water bottles and Gatorade, as well as the snow cones (especially on hot day like yesterday). Overall, everything went fairly well.
