America Recycles Day of Service with International Paper

Had a great time learning about International Paper Company! We also put food goods in boxes, that helped me learned about the right things to recycle! I met new people, that was really nice!

I got to listen to a few employees from International Paper talk about the importance of recycling. They talked about the types of products that can be recycled. Also, they explained the best way to recycle a water bottle. They showed a quick video about the impact of recycling. Then we did a service project. We help put together boxes of food that got donated to the Tiger Pantry on campus. I helped make and tape the boxes.

We learned about the recycling industry. We listened to employees from the International Paper. We learned about how to recycle and what can be recycled. We then made boxes with food for the tiger pantry.

Very informative presentation. Keynote speakers were engaging and genuinely passionate about what they were doing. Would definitely attend again.

Amazing people had a great time.

It was enjoyable to learn about the different processes of recycling at this event! It was also very cool to see the assembly line at the end. A lot can be finished in a short time with many helping hands. :)
