During my volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul I developed smalls skills of packaging ziplock bags, I know that may seem odd but we were sorting out the donations, which were all packaged in ziplock bags. there was another volunteer that day that taught me how to save and store these ziplock bags efficiently. Instead of pushing them all in one bag, she folded them nicely. During my service, I sorted out through donations, cut up veggies, and packaged the food to serve those who were hungry and need. This service made me want to continue to volunteer there, as I saw the big line of families waiting for food. It was so heart whelming to see food in their hands especially the smiling kids in line. Every time I volunteer here we work as a team, it get things done faster. without the team there would be hungry people waiting for a long time. everyone was super nice and welcoming, I will be volunteering here again
