Store and Donation Volunteer

Make A Difference Day volunteers will be working in the Habitat for Humanity ReStore. The ReStore sells new and gently used home improvement products, furniture, arts and crafts supplies, and DIY materials . The ReStore fully supports the operational cost of Washington County Habitat for Humanity.

We are looking for both experienced volunteers and those who want to learn new skills while giving back to the community. We know your time is valuable and appreciate all who come out to help with Habitat for Humanity. Often you will be working side-by-side with our future homeowners!

Members from the Campus Chapter of Habitat for Humanity will also be there working with you! This is a great opportunity to get involved with the chapter or with Habitat in general.

Volunteers will be helping our staff

• Process Donations

• Customer Service

• Helping Manage Inventory

• Organize Displays

• Light Cleaning

• Refurbish and Repair Donating

• Organize Warehouse

• Light Clerical Work

*One specific task for this event will include unloading heavy countertops from a semi truck; those who are able to lift large amounts would be perfect for this!

Volunteers should wear closed toed shoes and comfortable, modest clothing.

Snacks and Drinks will be provided!
