I always like lending a hand to the Society of St. Vincent to feed the locals. Giving back to the community is always fulfilling. I think the most significant lesson I learned from my volunteer work is that kindness really does make a difference in the world. I also learned how to modify my leadership style for different situations. Giving back to those in need has consistently been one of my favorite things to do. This is relevant to one's career, particularly if one works in a clinic or medical facility. To continue building an oasis of refuge for those in need of help, the group requires everyone's cooperation.

As I've said time and time again, volunteer work is always rewarding, no matter what kind it is. I enjoyed spending time with the children at Youth Villages. All of the children were very smart, talented and have big dreams of having wonderful careers in the future. The most important thing I believe I took away from my volunteer experience is that patience and inclusivity can help heal the lives of many. Additionally, I discovered how to adapt my leadership abilities to various contexts. This is applicable to one's professional life, especially if one works in a medical facility or clinic. The group needs everyone's cooperation in order to move forward with creating a safe haven for everyone.
It is always satisfying to give back to the community. Kindness truly does make a difference in the world, and I believe it is the most important thing I have learnt from my volunteer work. I also gained knowledge on how to adapt my leadership approach to suit various contexts. It has always been one of my favorite things to give back to the community. This is pertinent to one's professional life, especially if one works in a clinic or other healthcare facility. The group needs everyone's assistance to keep creating a safe haven for people in need.
The significance of community is, I believe, the most important lesson I took away from my volunteer experience. My favorite thing to do has always been to give back to the community. This is applicable to one's professional life, especially if one works in a medical facility or clinic. In order to move forward with creating a safe haven for people in need of assistance, the group must come to the consensus that each person deserves excellent care. To be honest, I think this could be the answer to the low population health rates.

Volunteer work is always rewarding. The most important thing I believe I took away from my volunteer experience is that generosity truly does change the world. On this day, I had the pleasure of spending time with the 4H Club and teaching the young members of the group about history and science. The purpose of this trip was to encourage the children to take what they had learn and think about how they could use their new found knowledge to advance/help grow their community. It felt great working with the leaders of today and tomorrow. As I always say, volunteer work is always rewarding. I always learn so much with volunteer work, but the most important thing I believe I took away from the experience this day was that anyone can make a difference. There is no one set path to becoming someone (i.e. scientist) or doing something (making world-changing discoveries). We all also learned how diversity has a huge part how the world is today. Additionally, this was also the day I was challenged to show everything I learned about being a leader by leading and encouraging the children to be leaders themselves. I discovered how to adapt my leadership abilities to various contexts. This could definitely be applicable to my professional life, especially when I work in a medical facility or clinic. Being able to shift my leadership and give back/encourage future leaders is essential to the continual growth of the nation as a whole.
I think the most essential lesson I learned from my volunteer experience is the value of community. It has always been my favorite thing to do to give back to the community. This can be applied to one's career, particularly if one works in a clinic or hospital. To proceed with building a secure haven for individuals need aid, the group needs everyone to be in agreement that every deserves high quality service. I honestly believe that this could solve the problem of low population health rates.

Hi Anjanique, please update your reflection according to the guiding questions on page 18 of the EL Handbook. |
One of my most significant takeaway from this volunteer opportunity was learning more about team work and time management that ultimately lead to greater progress when it comes to completing tasks. This can be used career-wise, especially with working in a hospital or clinic. Everyone must be on one accord so that the team can continue to move forward in creating a safe refuge for those in need of assistance.
