I was able to volunteer at the Wesley Foundation center through R.E.P and mentor young refugees in a wide variety of school subjects.
I volunteered for two hours mentoring local refugees in certain subjects such as math, literature, and history.
This was a Martin Luther King, Jr., school clean-up held at Sea Isle Elementary, followed by a workshop held by one of Memphis' most influential UMC pastors.
I volunteered with the BDC to participate and perform for their annual Fall Festival. It was an amazing experience, where I was able to make valuable connections, talk to the youth, and get to do what I love.
