Wednesday Night Burrito Ride

Profoundly impactful experience, very well-organized, and so unique. Lyle Udell and his daughter put their heart and soul into the experience, both for the volunteers as well as recipients. We rode around on bikes in Downtown Memphis on Christmas Day providing burritos, water, snacks, and even Christmas cards to people who are experiencing homelessness. But Lyle also made it a point to interact with each person who was homeless on a caring and compassionate level.
The organization had plenty of bike gear on site, as well as plenty of food for anyone we could find. Definitely one of my best volunteer experiences.
