It felt really rewarding to give back to those in need. Seeing all the kids smile made the experience even more meaningful and reminded me how important it is to help others.
Today, I had the opportunity to serve dinner at a local homeless shelter alongside a group of friends. This experience reminded me that service is not just about providing food, but about offering dignity, presence, and compassion. Sitting with individuals, making eye contact, and sharing conversation reinforced how powerful simple human connection can be. It humbled me and shifted my perspective, reminding me not to take my own stability and support system for granted. Serving in this space strengthened my commitment to showing up for others in meaningful ways and reaffirmed that small acts of kindness can create lasting impact.
