Beverage Volunteers - Chicken & Beer Fest

This was a wonderful opportunity to volunteer at a great event supporting the Dorothy Day House!

Great experience and lots of fun. My wife and I were pouring beers for Meddlesome. It would be nice if the souvenir cups were only slightly larger than the 3 oz pour we were asked to adhere to. That way, I wouldn’t have had to deal with people asking for a “real pour” all shift. Also, the time between when we asked for more beer from the truck to the time we got it seemed like a long time. If the logistics of that and running out of ice could be worked out, this would be a top notch event across the board. Even with these things, I would volunteer or attend this event again.
