Toys for Tots Warehouse Volunteer

My service contributed to the members and families who are a part of Toys for Tots. My service made me really think about how fortunate I am to be able to celebrate Christmas every year and receive presents. This service definitely aligns with my personal values. I believe that kids and families should be able to experience these traditions that they otherwise might not be able to. It reminds us that everyone can lend a helping hand and make someone else's holiday an enjoyable experience too. I do plan to continue volunteering with this organization because their mission impacts several people and is something families look forward to every year.

I had the amazing opportunity to help unbox the gifts, mark the barcodes, store the gifts, cut open the boxes, and overall assist the Mid South Toys for Tots. In the process, I was able to get to know my peers as well as where these toys are going to. I will definitely be helping out in the future and am looking forward to the programs achievements.
