V and E Greenline

This was a great experience! I got to work with others in the Memphis community and help make the V & E Greenline a better-looking environment for the people who bike and run on that trail. The most significant takeaway from this was teamwork. Without collaborating with my fellow attendees, we wouldn't have done our best and made the green line look good. I plan to apply this to undergrad life and beyond because teamwork is important in a work setting because it can improve productivity and effiency. My fellow attendees and organizers were respectful of the environment, and we all worked together to make the greenline better for runners on the trail. I asked insightful questions to gain a deeper understanding. I asked the organizer why he decided to start this organization, and hearing his story was inspiring and he wanted to contribute to the community around him. There were moments when I had to adapt to the environment around me because I was not used to my surroundings. I had to toughen up and think about the impact the organizer wanted to make on the environment. The people who ran this experience were great to work with, and my peers were also very helpful.
