During this experience, I volunteered my Saturday morning to help Habitat for Humanity clean up neighborhoods in downtown Memphis. I collaborated with other volunteers to create a better living environment for those living downtown. It was a wonderful, humbling experience and I will be volunteering again for this group.
This was such a fun opportunity to clean up the neighborhood and make it a nicer place for the community to enjoy. We planted flowers, cleaned up gardens, yards, and sidewalks.
Event was well organized, loved being able to help by filing papers and helping set up the different food bags to give to the beautiful families
I stayed 2 hours over just to help clean up but it was great giving to families who need food
