March 18th Service on Saturday

Project 940 was a great experience and taught me to grow through serving others.

The mobile food pantry served over 50 families this Saturday and to be a part of that was pretty sweet! I gathered information from those who came based on whether or not they had come previously. There were so many people there to help so the process of getting each family their box of food went very smoothly. I enjoyed getting to serve alongside other students from the University of Memphis and those who work to make the Memphis a better place everyday. I look forward to volunteering with the Catholic Charities again in the future.

It was very fun saying Hi to everyone passing by and serving them boxes. The only thing was that it was pretty cold outside, but besides that everything went well :)

This event was a great experience. I am glad I got to help out many families in need by providing them with month’s worth of food. It was a humbling experience.
