Northwest Arkansas Women's Shelter Thrift Store Volunteering

Meet at the NWA Women's Shelter Thrift Store located at 1622 S. 8th St. in Rogers. You will be working with Christy Jaro, Thrift Store manager.

For over 30 years, the Northwest Arkansas Women's Shelter (NWAWS) has been a resource in the community. Through a 24 hour crisis hotline, a 24 hour emergency shelter, counseling, legal assistance and education, the NWAWS has created a safe, compassionate environment that empowers individuals to reclaim their lives and to stop enduring financial, physical or emotional abuse. Thousands of people have found a safe place through our shelter, and we are proud to continue making our community a more equal, secure place. We have a thrift store that helps us raise funds for our shelter. At this volunteer event, you will be helping our thrift store manager, clean, paint, organize back stock, and rearrange the floor. You will also get to interact with thrift store employees and customers. We look forward to seeing you there.
