PAC was proud to organize our first service opportunity for Path students. We enjoyed honoring Earth Day by cleaning up our newly adopted Hotz Park.
For this volunteer activity, I gave blood to the Red Cross organization. It feels good to know that I could do this small act to help someone.
It was so much fun to have lunch with the path interview candidates and answer their questions, and also provide them with a campus tour. It felt good to be able to help the path program make the interview weekend go smoothly.
It was so much fun to attend the game night for path interview weekend! I loved getting to meet the prospective path scholars, and help create a welcoming environment for them so that they could feel a little more comfortable.
This academic event centered around pre-health week. Though it is not the profession I am going into, I still found it intriguing to hear about!
It was such a delight to take part in some free coffee and chocolate covered strawberries leading up to Valentines day!
Assisting AACF with the NWA Soup Sunday was such a pleasant experience. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting with the different vendors and staff, and though I had to leave early due to sickness, I hope to be able to return next year and get the whole experience!
For this service opportunity, it was a pleasure to serve the M&N Augustine Foundation. We helped portion out desserts and any other small tasks the staff requested assistance with.
I had an incredible time helping Potter House sort donations at their warehouse on Make a Difference Day this year! Organizing is very satisfying for me, and helping out filled me with joy. The staff were very kind and generous to us, I am excited to help them out again in the future.
For this volunteer activity, I donated boxes of bags of chips for children to snack on during their after-school programs organized by the Yvonne Richardson Community Center. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to contribute in a small way to the investment of programs such as this for the youth of Fayetteville.
