I cleaned and did laundry for my roommate. My roommate had a particularly rough week and she was coming back to our house from being home for a while. She left pretty quickly so her room was a mess and she had a lot of laundry to do. I did two loads of laundry and folded them for her. She teared up when she came home and said that was the best part of her week.

I took my friends dog on a walk and played with her. My friend is a nurse and she was working a full shift that day so I offered to get her dog out of the house. I took her on a walk and took her with me to lunch. I then took her to the dog park where she had so much fun and I could tire her out so when my friend came home from a long day she didnt have a crazy puppy to deal with.
I took my mom to lunch for her birthday. She had a wedding that night so we could not celebrate. I made a day of it and paid for lunch to make her feel extra special. My mom deserves the world and more and this was something little I did. I also went with her to get our nails done and we could really catch up and she had a great day.

I made my friends soup. We were all not feeling well so I went to the grocery and that took about an hour. We did all split the ingredients. It took me another hour to cook my roommates the soup. They all enjoyed it so much and it made everyone feel so much better. I also made enough to provide leftovers so that we didn't have to cook much the next couple of days. Even though I wasn't feeling well, I figured if I could stick it out then it would be worth it for everyone. I felt goof about myself afterwards and it made them feel good as well.
I went to Walmart and bough snacks for the homeless man on the corner of Walmart. This is apart of my kindness acts. I have learned to look forward to seeing the man on the corner, Craig. I got him an apple and chips. Next time I will steer away from the apple because he didn't have enough teeth to eat it properly.
I made dinner with my post grad friend and talked to her for a while. One of my friends who had just graduated last year has been feeling lonely. So I went over to her house and hung out with her. Her friends have all moved away so I knew she didn't have many friends up here anymore. We made dinner and we just talked. I used my listening skills and really payed attention to how she was feeling.
I bought granola bars and a water for the homeless man on the corner of Walmart. I learned his name and he appreciated me asking. He said thank you and blessed me. This hopefully also impacted the people behind me because there was a long line and they didn't honk when I stopped to give him the treats.
