Writing a message for Breast Cancer Awareness in chalk on the sidewalk is a powerful and creative way to spread hope and awareness in your community. It shows compassion and support for those affected while encouraging others to learn and take action. My message helps turn a simple walkway into a space for kindness and awareness. “I wrote You Are A Strong Warrior”
I really enjoyed dressing up for the industry mixer and career week. Dressing up is something I take pride in because it lets me express confidence and professionalism. It felt great to show that through both my appearance and the way I carried myself.
I think Teach For America is a really good program because it helps students who might not always get the best resources. It made me realize how important teachers are in shaping the future. I feel like it also shows how you can make a difference in your community by giving back.
I loved this. This morning, I enjoyed marching to the voting polls. Along the way, I also learned more about the history of Orangeburg and gained a better understanding of why our vote truly matters.
Today I learned about the Panther Closet launch, and I really appreciate that Claflin has introduced this initiative. I believe it will be very helpful for students who may have difficulty finding their sizes or who don’t have access to transportation. Overall, I’m excited about this launch and look forward to seeing my peers engage with it.
Answering these questions helped me learn more about how SNAP works and who can get help from it. I didn’t realize how much it also helps the local economy. It’s cool to see how a program like this supports people and communities at the same time.
