I volunteered at the George Elementary site and helped out with Group 5!

I helped with the SOAR Christmas Party and had a blast. The entire day was hectic with all the children full of sugar, but I thoroughly enjoyed helping out. I helped give out sweets, hot cocoa, and aided with whatever the other staff needed. George Elementary is such an awesome site!

I love the SOAR Family at George Elementary. They are welcoming and kind to the volunteers. I helped with the children of Group 5 which is made up of 3rd graders.

I volunteered at the George Elementary School SOAR Program.

I attended the Little Rock Urban Plunge Mission Trip with the Intervarsity staff. I received training on how to fulfill God's mission for myself while also volunteering in the local communities of Little Rock. I participated in thorough bible studies on the gospel of Luke, Isaiah, and Leviticus. I volunteered at local community centers including Urban Plunge and Immerse. Urban Plunge is an after-school program for the disenfranchised children of Little Rock to have a safe place to learn the word and participate in clubs. Immerse Arkansas focuses on young adults who have aged out of the foster care system and are searching for aid, housing, and a plan for their future. This experience not only strengthened my faith but afforded me a stronger desire to become more involved with the often disregarded.
