When we were given Milo as a foster this semester, we knew he was going to be so special to us! He was one of the youngest dogs we have had so far and we learned a whole lot of patience with him. It was very rewarding to see him open up and accept his new family so easily!
Our baby only for the weekend! Meeka was an amazing guest in our house, and we were so excited to have such an excitable and loving girl to dog sit for Big Paws! We had so much fun with her and we miss her already!
Fostering our third dog, Rosie, was such a treat!! From getting to take care of her post-spay to seeing her open up and be the sweetest girl ever, this was such an amazing experience, and I can't wait for the next one.
I fostered a second dog with Big Paws of the Ozarks during this spring semester and it was the best experience ever! It's so fulfilling to watch a dog grow out of its shell and get ready for new life with a forever home!
Our second foster baby, Macy!! We had the absolute best time with this sweet girl and we couldn't have asked for a better dog to end the semester with! Thank you again to Big Paws for making it so easy for us to be foster mommies! 10/10 experience and absolutely so fulfilling!
This was an incredible experience!! Being able to do somethings as small as housing one dog so we could help make room in the shelters for more dogs who need it. Our dog Kenny was an absolute angel and we couldn't have been happier with how our time with him was! Shoutout to Big Paws for being such an incredible organization and being so accommodating for us!
As a huge walker, this was such an easy and fun way to make such a big impact on supporting survivors of sexual assault. We had a great time and were so glad to get to participate!
I did the AXO Philanthropy Swap where we made dog toys for the shelter dogs! It was a great experience and it was super fun to go to the AXO house and meet some of their girls.
Today I donated blood for the American Red Cross at the Union Ballroom. The staff made it a very welcoming environment and overall it was a great experience.
