The Cooper-Young 4-miler brings together people from all over the community, to have a fun run and a party. I actually got a role by the three trash bins, guiding people toward the right bin for their recyclable, compost, or landfill trash. I am fairly passionate about keeping as much as possible out of landfill, so I served this role with enthusiasm. It was an honor to serve the people of my community who had put in a good run.
