Through Kappa Kappa Gamma, I was able to volunteer for SOAR at the Jones Center in Springdale, Arkansas. During this 1 hour time period, I was able to help students complete their homework and I was also able to help them increase their literacy skills by reading with them. This experience was very rewarding, as I saw the faces of the children light up when they learned a new skill. I am so grateful for Kappa Kappa Gamma for providing me with this opportunity.

Through Kappa Kappa Gamma, I was able to volunteer again for SOAR at the Jones Center in Springdale, Arkansas. During this 1 hour time period, I was able to do problem-solving and decision-making activities with the students. This helped them build creativity, while also having fun. This experience provided me with the satisfaction of knowing that I was helping students and that I was a role model to them. After volunteering a few times before, I was able to really get to know the students and connect with them on more of a personal level. I had the best time, and again, I am so grateful for Kappa Kappa Gamma for providing me with this opportunity.
