The experience was even more fun than I expected. It was almost like Christmas, with all the surprises when opening the boxes of lighting fixtures. It is heartwarming knowing people and corporations donate so many nice things. And what a great opportunity for people to find the perfect piece for their home at an amazing price. That the proceeds help put families in a home of their own is the icing on the cake. I worked with Trey in Housewares Sorting and we had a fun time helping customers and talking about lighting and ReStore while we worked. I look forward to my next volunteer date!
