The pink bows foundation is always a fun time to take part in. This time I helped in setting up the very first junior committee event. For every drink bought at this event, $2 was donated to the foundation. There was also raffles. I helped in setting up and decorating for this event. I got to see so many people come together to help this event take place. This showed so much love and dedication to the cause and community. The setting up consisted of helping the junior committee leader in what she needed. This event helped raise money for the foundation and for the charities that the foundation helps. I always love spending time with the pink bows junior committee and doing anything I can. This committee means a lot as it shows a community coming together and I get so much out of this experience always.

I had an amazing time making pink bows for the Pink Bows Foundation. This foundation is a charity organization that was started to remember and honor those who lost their lives at the Astroworld concert and is dedicated to serving the community. I helped in spreading awareness by taking part in the Junior Committee and making the pink bows that were hung up around the Fayetteville area. These bows are a symbol of the foundation and reach out into the community to show what this all stands for. I
benefitted from this experience as the committee all came together and made a difference by just working together and making bows. This showed me that the littlest things can make a difference and help out.
While I was back home, I went to visit Lupe Earls again, not knowing it would be my last time sadly. I enjoyed her company as we played some board games this time and just talked about everything. I would say we both benefitted. It was a greatly spent weekend at the retirement home and spending time with such an amazing woman. What I took away from this experience, as a whole, is to not take life or anyone for granted.
I worked with Lupe Earls again! I always love my time there. We played memorization games and played puzzles like usual. I would say that I benefit more than she does from my experience with her. I enjoy just being able to take the time and hang out with her and try to help with her dementia. It was a great pleasure getting to see her for so long and for her to allow me to come back!
I loved working with Mary Cisper in the retirement home!! I helped her with games for her Alzheimer’s!! I went back home for a weekend and thought of no other way!!
