My friend and I put in at the Germantown Road Wolf River access point and exited at the Harbor Town upper boat ramp (Mississippi River).

This was a great trip, but not for a beginner and not for someone without upper body endurance. Pre-planning is a must due to the length and duration of the trip. It is also important to wear a PFD the entire time you're on the water, as well as taking plenty of snacks and water to consume along the way. Sunscreen and clothing to protect from the sun is a must as well. While the river flows through Memphis, there aren't many easily accessible places to exit completely if necessary.

As usual, we picked up as much small trash as we could carry.
