Always a good time..always very well orchestrated....this is a HUGE amount of work for those that prepare and do all of this and I give them KUDDOS......the volunteers are there to do what they are told....the thing that I would try and make sure of is that there is a point person that knows what is to be done and can tell the volunteers what to do...there are always those of us who have done it year after year...that can be like..so this is how we've done it in the past and this is what you need to do...but what if those people no longer volunteer..and then there is no one to tell them what they should do? Last night out of the 10 I think volunteers on the food set up...me and one other person had done it before...and it was a bunch of students that had no clue...It all turned out great, (it always does) I just dont want something to fall thru the crack because the LEADERS (that always do an awesome job) forget that new volunteers may have no clue as to what they are doing or supposed to do...same thing for the NO WASTE volunteers,....do they know what goes in each container? Has someone told them what goes in each? Did someone show them how to change the bags when they are full? (I was helping put the bags on when I first got there..and someone had to show me how to do it)...it's the small things that might fall thru....but again another GREAT NIGHT FOR CY 4 miler....great job all those that run this!
