This was my last school board meeting I got to listen into. It was always so interesting to listen to what the board, teachers, and students would talk about. I wrote a bit about what they talked about in the paper I attached to this. The only thing I do not enjoy is how long they are, but very worth it!
This assignment was a lot easier to do because I have already done one very similar to it!
This Apple seeds assignment was a bit more difficult than the others but overall it was fun to do!
I really enjoy doing the Apple Seeds assignments. This is my second one I've done and I feel like I am already doing better with replicating them.
Overall, I think it was a fun little project to work on. I was surprised with how difficult it was to make it look like the original, but I think I made them look almost the same.
This was a bit difficult to pay attention since it was an hour and 30 minutes, but I really enjoyed listening to the online and face to face situations they spoke on. It is crazy to hear about how COVID is affecting the school boards with several teachers being ill and how they have higher up people like principals helping with substitute teaching. It is incredible yet sad what is having to happen in our schools during a pandemic. I wrote about it in the document attached.
It was super easy! Just watched it on Youtube live, and just listened to different stories. I write about them in the Word document that is attached.
This was my third time helping the Springdale teachers with interpreting. I got the opportunity to work with Mary House and meet Juan! She was very sweet and Juan's parents were very kind and patient.
This was my second time getting to help the teachers interpret. I worked with Ms. Stewart at Harp, and it was super easy. I really enjoyed working with her!
It was my first time translating for the school and I was a bit nervous. I thought it would be a lot more stressful, but I just ended up having to call the parents telling them what their teacher told me. Overall, it was an easy experience and will definitely be doing it again!
