During the first weekend of February, I worked Freedom Weekend and lead a small group of girls for two nights and three days. I had the opportunity to serve these girls throughout a weekend full of worship, activities, and bible studies at our host home!
I was given the opportunity to work the Chancellor’s Pregame Party through one of my hospitality courses. At the event, I worked as a volunteeer by greeting each guest, providing them with information about the food served at the event, and assisting them when they had any questions pertaining to the event.
I worked the event Chefs in the Garden for one of my hospitality courses. I was assigned to assist with the staff at the restaurant Local Flavor, a new American cuisine located in Eureka Springs. I enjoyed getting to know the staff, getting to better understand their menu and how they prepare their food, and serving the many guests at the event.
Spent the morning as a volunteer, walking to support a cure for Alzheimer’s with the Kappa Delta Team from the University of Arkansas.
Volunteered for an event called SMASH as one of several student volunteers within the Hospitality Industry. As a volunteer, I helped set up for the event the night before and worked the actual event the next night by greeting and guiding the guests to their seats.
My sister and I lead a group of high school freshman through an event at Cross Church called Freedom Weekend. Throughout the weekend (Friday-Sunday) we attended every session at the Pinnacle Hills campus with our small group and drove them to and from our host home. As a leader, I led our groups' nightly discussions by restating and asking questions regarding the messages we heard throughout the day.
