I went to the New School in Fayetteville and gave hearing screenings to children in 8th, 4th, and 2nd grade. I was supervised by Dr. Margie Gilbertson from the Communication Sciences and Disorders program who teaches my Intro to Audiology class. Best experience ever!

I spoke at the Find Your Impact session for the VAC. I spoke about the Ronald McDonald House Charities where I used to work and intern! It was so much unseeing everyone excited about volunteering and helping others!
Handed out Thanksgiving baskets to the those who couldn't afford to put dinner on their tables this year in Tulsa. Got there at 6 am and sorted baskets to pass them out at 7 am. Baskets consisted of a turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and a dessert and other small perishable items.
I went to Little Rock and volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House Charities Chocolate Ball Event where this charity raises money to help families of ill children. This was such a great experience and I cannot wait to go back and volunteer here again next year!
I went home to Tulsa, Oklahoma and put together Thanksgiving baskets at our local Catholic Charities. I sorted out canned goods, turkeys, and other food items for the holiday which I then would take outside and walk the bags to people's cars so they could have groceries for the weeks festivities. I did this early in the morning until the afternoon (around noon). This is one of my favorite volunteer activities to do because it connects you with the Tulsa community during the holidays!
Went to the Veterans Home and handed out cards and spoke to the veterans staying there.
