I loved volunteering at Porter-Leath. I definitely want to come back with the organizations that I’m a part of.

Going to MBA has been a great experience so far. I have been able to share my college experience with students who are so excited to move to the next phase of their lives as well as help students who want to go straight into the work force. We plan on helping them at least through February to get through the majority of scholarship applications.

The Epsilon Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. was able to talk and spend time with some 8th grade ladies at Power Center Academy Middle. We talked to them about the importance of scholarship, service, and sisterhood, spent some time teaching them a step, and answering any questions they had about college. It was really fun to spend time with these ladies because I remember being in their shoes. I hope they had just as much fun with us, as we did with them.

On this day, I was able to spend time at Su Casa Ministries with the Toddler 1 class. I was able to spend time with the children as well as watch the teacher and learn from her interactions with the children.
