These presentations helped me understand just how much food waste we produce and why we can do better to reduce this waste. As an architecture major, I am curious if there is a way to integrate food waste reduction into an architectural solution or model that helps reduce food waste produced.

I learned a lot about food waste and the statistics of how the U of A is taking measures to prevent food waste.
My Professional Practice Class gave us the option to use the class period to take the opportunity to go out and vote. The professor reminded us how fortunate we are to have a voice in our government, something so many people around the world continue to struggle and fight for. I went to a church in Lowell to go vote and felt so proud. Understanding that this election was arguably one of the most critical in history, I was eager to vote
My partner and I volunteered to help a friend of a friend out who was in a tough place due to covid. The friend is the founder of a non-profit organization here in Fayetteville called either "Fay4itSchools" or I believe it has now been renamed to "STUDENTS." I'm not sure. The actual move was long and meticulous and we all worked up a huge sweat. Once the friend's last lease ended, she handed the lease over to her son because her son needed a place to live so we decided to help her move her belongings while she found a new more affordable place to live. She was very appreciative and I made some new friends that day.
Did yard work for Nina all month. 2 hours every Sunday. Sweat like crazy to get Nina's garden and yard flawless! And also had a little bit of fun at the same time.
I'm not certain to what day this was, but I helped Katie set tables up for her wedding the week of her wedding. This was the same day I fell off a bike and hurt my foot :) but I still managed!
I helped Nina pack up her lovely christmas decorations and made sure she didn't have to do any physically demanding tasks or potentially dangerous ones like heavy lifting and climbing up a ladder.
