I worked at the kids station, and I volunteered from 10am to 3pm. I really enjoyed the experience, even if it was a little cold! I was still very happy to see that big groups of people came out to learn about the refugee crisis.

I worked the Kids station at the mock refugee camp at the Bentonville Public Library. I got there early to help set up and stayed to clean up, and I really appreciated how everyone worked together to make sure everything went smoothly and I had a great time volunteering and helping educate the community about the refugee crisis. I felt that we made a real impact on a lot of people who came through the camp.
