Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
  1. Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.

  2. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.

Memphis CAC has a wish list of items that they constantly need fulfilled! The Advocacy Center is here to help children of all ages feel that comfort and love they need while growing into great young adults! Any and all donations from the list are welcome and greatly appreciated as they are still open daily and in need of supplies.

Please drop off your donations outside in front of the University Center. Members of the CEB will be near the bronze Tiger statue to accept your donation and take down your information so that we may credit you for your service hours. 

School supplies:
  • Notebooks, notebook paper
  • Pencils, erasers
  • Backpacks 

Cleaning Supplies:
  • Clorox or Lysol brand disinfecting wipes
  • Disinfectant spray (alcohol or bleach-based)
  • Anti-bacterial hand soap with pump
  • Hand sanitizer (large bottle)
  • Paper towels, extra soft facial tissue

Snacks and drinks:
  • Bottled water
  • Individually wrapped snacks and juice boxes
  • Fast food restaurant gift cards

Relaxation and Therapy supplies:
  • Coloring books, crayons, coloring books 
  • Activity books 
  • Flash cards, including games that explore feelings 
  • "Oh, The Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss
  • Gift cards to Knowledge Tree, Target, Walmart, Sam's, Kroger, Lowe's, Home Depot, Office Depot/Office Max
