  2. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.

Catholic Charities of West TN is looking for donations of specific foods and clothing items. They are also accepting face mask donations - the masks can be made at home if any students sew, or purchased and donated. 

In response to COVID-19, Catholic Charities of West TN restructured the way they serve food to those most in need. They have homeless outreach on their front porch Monday-Friday where they serve on average 70 individuals a day with a lunch sack containing 60 grams of protein. In the drive thru mobile pantry in their parking lot, they serve low-income families in need Monday-Thursday. These boxes are also shared with community partners that have need as well. Since the last week of March, Catholic Charities of West TN has served food to well over 20,000 individuals in need. 

Food Box Donation Request: 
**For size and consistency, they ask nothing be bulk/oversized. They look for the traditional sized canned goods.

  • 15-16oz Canned Vegetables
  • Box Individual Packets of Oatmeal
  • Box Mac and Cheese
  • Ramen Noodles 
  • Jar Peanut Butter
  • Canned Chicken
CASUAL Clothing Closet Donation Request: 
**Please NO dress clothing, suits, heels, business wear.

Catholic Charities of West TN operates their closet with 100% donated items and are always desperately low on casual tennis shoes. They are seeking gently used and freshly laundered men's and women's:
  • Socks
  • Underwear
  • Tee Shirts
  • Jeans
  • Sweatshirts/sweatpants
  • Coats
  • Belts
  • Tennis Shoes
  • Backpacks 
  • Rolling luggage
Please drop off your donations outside in front of University Center. Members of the CEB team will be near the bronze Tiger with boxes to accept your donation and take down your information so that we may credit you for your service hours.
