Lights of the Ozarks Parade

Directing traffic and parking for the Christmas tree lighting in Downtown Fayetteville Square.

I helped direct traffic and guide pedestrians during the Christmas parade in the Fayetteville square. I was in charge of helping direct people before and during the parade to ensure their safety. I enjoyed the parade because it was beautiful and I had so much fun getting to meet different families. It was a great and fun way to volunteer

The volunteers were given vests and flash lights and I was assigned to the corner of mountain and west. I directed traffic with the help of my flashlight in order to start the parade and also directed traffic out of the square. From another direction cars weren’t allowed to come through so I also assisted them to turn around to get out of the parade

I had a wonderful time directing the parade! I helped direct traffic, and all top of it all, I got to see all the amazing floats!! The people who were in charge of the parade were so amazing and made it a lot of fun. So glad I was apart of it!
