Today, I was humbled through the volunteering that I took part in. I was allowed to take time to distribute bagged lunches, socks, hand warmers, hygiene kits, water and other basic necessities that one may take for granted. One instance that stood out to me was when one man raved about how much being able to have a shower this morning meant to him. It is amazingly easy to get caught up in the swing of our lives day in and out so hearing this humbled me and allowed me to wear a different lens about my own life.
The staff are incredibly welcoming! Trevor, Mandy, & Walter are the best!
