On January 17th, our community service experience with Sweet Cheeks Diaper Ministry was both meaningful and eye-opening. During this service event, we helped hand out diapers for children and adults, as well as formula, to families in need within the community. Being directly involved in the distribution process allowed us to see how essential these everyday items are for families who may be struggling to afford them. Many families expressed gratitude, and it was clear that even small acts of service can make a big difference in someone’s daily life.

This experience was valuable because it highlighted an often overlooked need—access to basic necessities like diapers and formula. It challenged me to think more deeply about how financial stress can impact families, especially parents and caregivers. Serving alongside others also reinforced the importance of teamwork, compassion, and showing up consistently for the community. Overall, volunteering with Sweet Cheeks Diaper Ministry reminded me why community service matters and strengthened my desire to continue supporting programs that directly meet people where they are and provide real, immediate help.
