1. Skills and Personal Development
Question: What skills did you develop or improve through this service experience?
Answer: Through hosting bingo at Ridgemont Manor, I developed my communication and leadership skills. I was able to use and expand on my teaching background for the guests at the home.

2. Understanding and Awareness
Question: What did you learn about the community or environment you served?
Answer: I learned that many residents at Ridgemont Manor value social interaction and small community events like bingo because they create a sense of connection and joy. Even simple activities can make a big difference in brightening someone’s day and reducing feelings of loneliness, especially for those with limited mobility or social opportunities.

3. Relationships and Teamwork
Question: Did you work individually or as part of a team, and how did that impact your experience?
Answer: I worked as part of a team with the main host, and that teamwork made the experience smoother and more enjoyable. We supported each other—while one of us called numbers, the other helped players and organized prizes. It showed me how effective collaboration can make an event run efficiently and create a positive atmosphere for participants.

4. Organizational Impact and Alignment
Question: How did your service contribute to the mission or goals of the organization?
Answer: My service contributed to Ridgemont Manor’s mission of creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for its residents. By helping host the bingo game, I supported their goal of providing meaningful recreational activities that promote mental stimulation, happiness, and community engagement among the elderly and individuals with special needs.

5. Reflection and Improvement
Question: Did your service align with your personal values and beliefs? If not, how did you handle any conflicts?
Answer: This service experience strongly aligned with my personal values and beliefs. I believe in supporting and nurturing my community in any way possible, and hosting bingo at Ridgemont Manor gave me a chance to do exactly that. Bringing joy and companionship to the residents reflected my commitment to kindness, inclusion, and giving back to others.
