Mempho Music Festival at Radians Amphitheater at Memphis Botanic Garden October 3-5

I have been volunteering at the same tent for the past few years and really enjoy it. This year was a little different, it was difficult to get in the area where I was working, got rerouted a couple times due to not having the proper credentials. I was finally able to get into the area and discovered the setup was a little different. In the past we have been able to go get food during our breaks but this time we had to wait until someone brought food. On Saturday I didn’t get to eat at all and on Sunday we didn’t get to eat until about 9. That would have been fine except I was coming straight from work so it was just a long day to have to wait so late to eat. I love the team from Danger Press and will continue to come back and help out in the future! I think if there is a way to allow staff and volunteers to get food breaks when they can take a break that would help things run smoother. Thank you all for the opportunity to volunteer at such a fun festival!
