Live at the Garden Table Organization

We prepared the Radians Amphitheater for a concert that was happening that night. I worked with 9 other individuals to help prepare 300 tables. Throughout my time at the Botanic Garden, I developed my coordination and time management skills by placing number cards and garbage bags at each table within two hours. We split all the times into 3 different sections and groups, which helped us move at an efficient rate. My service influenced my understanding of waste management. Each garbage bag helps the Botanic Garden maintain its reputation of being a welcoming and respectful place. I would definitely volunteer at the Botanic Garden again because the staff were friendly and gave simple directions. The only unexpected challenge that was faced during my service was that some of my peers had to grab extra garbage bags to ensure each table had one.
