Warm Welcome 2025

I improved my patience and communication skills throughout this service opportunity. I along with my sorority sisters helped unload peoples cars and take them to their dorm room, then unpacked the stuff from the carts for them. I learned that the new incoming freshman were excited to get a fresh start and to finally start college. I worked as a team to make the incoming freshman move in a breeze! It impacted me in a positive way as it brought me closer to my sisters as we met people together and formed bonds with them! I plan on doing Warm Welcome every year until I graduate, I really liked this service opportunity and it showed me how Memphis students love being together!

I had an amazing time helping students move into their dorms. I got to bond and make connections with other students and with faculty. I can't wait to do it again later this week!
